Data You Give Us Directly
This resource does not require an account to read its court-reference content. If a visitor voluntarily submits information through a third-party service, that service's own privacy terms may apply.
Data We Gather Automatically
Like most web services, hosting and analytics providers may receive technical data such as browser type, device information, IP address, pages requested, and approximate timing. This information is used to operate, secure, and improve the service.
What We Do With This Data
Operational information may be used to maintain availability, understand general traffic, prevent abuse, and improve content presentation. It is not used by this resource to create court-record profiles or to make decisions about individuals.
No Court-Record Data on File
Guilford County Court Docket does not host official Guilford case files, dockets, calendars, or orders. Court-file records are held by the Guilford Clerk of Superior Court and accessed through official Judicial Branch channels, subject to North Carolina access rules including G.S. 7A-109, G.S. 132-6, and confidentiality limits such as G.S. 7B-3000.
Third-Party Search Partners
Sponsored search widgets are supplied by outside providers. Information entered into those tools is governed by the provider's terms and privacy practices, not by the official eCourts Portal or the Guilford clerk.
Links to Other Websites
Links to North Carolina Judicial Branch, legislative, county, city, and federal court resources lead to sites with their own policies. Review those policies before submitting information or relying on an outside service.
Who Might See Your Data
Service providers that operate hosting, security, analytics, or a third-party widget may process limited technical information as necessary for their functions. We do not sell court records because we do not maintain court records.
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used for a reference website, but no transmission or storage method is completely risk free. Avoid placing sensitive information into forms that do not require it.
Users Under 18
This resource is not directed to children. It does not knowingly seek personal information from users under 18. Juvenile court records are confidential under North Carolina law and are not a public lookup topic.
Your Data Rights
Available rights depend on the information, the provider holding it, and applicable law. Requests about a third-party tool must be directed to that provider. Official court-record access and redaction questions should be directed to the responsible court or clerk under the relevant North Carolina procedure.
Updates to This Policy
This policy may change as site operations or law change. The current version posted here controls until replaced.
