Why We Built This Site
Court records are spread across a statewide portal, courthouse divisions, clerk offices, schedules, and state rules. This resource gathers those official routes in one place for people trying to locate a Guilford case, confirm a court date, or understand which court holds a file. It is privately operated and is not a Guilford County or North Carolina Judicial Branch service.
Guilford has Greensboro and High Point courthouse divisions, but one Clerk of Superior Court record-custodian function. The distinction matters for a calendar question, while the clerk remains the right source for an official file or certification.
What You Will Find Here
The docket pages describe the official eCourts Portal, clerk terminal and counter options, court-date channels, public-access limits, and the separation between court records and city or agency records. They also distinguish District Court traffic and misdemeanor matters from Superior Court felony, jury-trial, and major civil matters.
- Official links to Judicial Branch, clerk, and statute resources.
- County-specific court, calendar, and clerk contact paths.
- Plain-language explanations of case information, events, and court settings.
- City routing that does not invent municipal court dockets.
What We Cannot Do
We do not keep a docket, host case files, schedule hearings, accept payments, issue certified copies, or provide legal advice. A Portal result is not a substitute for the original court record. Only the Guilford Clerk of Superior Court can provide a clerk-certified case document for a Guilford filing.
Protected records remain protected. Juvenile, sealed, expunged, and otherwise confidential matters are not made public by a search here or by a general discussion of court access.
Search Partners
Content pages may display a sponsored third-party search widget. That widget is separate from the official North Carolina eCourts Portal and from the Guilford Clerk of Superior Court. Its presence does not mean this resource controls its results, prices, or data handling.
For an authoritative Guilford court record, use the official court channel identified for the matter and verify important details with the originating clerk or court.
